Coach-Client Agreement
This coaching agreement is entered into between CoachXPro and the signed Client named below. It will begin upon date filed at the end of this document and will continue on a monthly basis until the purchased package plan is complete or until such time as the Client terminates CoachXPro’s services. A reminder email/text will be sent out before any scheduled session. Clients can schedule online based on Coach and/or group session availability.
Fees
The investment for coaching sessions will be withdrawn on a monthly basis in advance of that month’s first session in the amount dictated by the package you have chosen ($260, $360, or $600) on a recurring billing cycle. The fee is payable through PayPal or Stripe via CoachXPro.com. You CANNOT pay for services rendered via Zelle, Venmo, Cashapp, check, cash, or any other payment service or method other than direct through our website and the two methods previously listed.
Group Coaching
Group coaching will be no different than what an athlete will receive at a collegiate level or at an elite camp. It is understood that you will receive individual and catered attention and placed within a proven system under a professional coach with other highly motivated athletes. Coach’s reputation and results precede him.
You will be choose your session(s) based on available dates and times posted on the CoachXPro website each week. You will need to be at your set time and day each week or forfeit your right to practice or surrender your session payment. You CAN contact us if you need to cancel (see below).
Important (Updated August 2024)
The athlete is responsible for attending scheduled training sessions each week. It is not the coach's obligation to allocate additional time in the future to make up for missed sessions. If an athlete misses a session, they are permitted to schedule a make-up session within one month of the original date. Beyond this one-month period, any missed sessions will be forfeited, and no reimbursement will be provided.
Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be done by the cancellation link in your confirmation email for the session only and the email must be received 24 hours in advance of the appointment date or you will be charged a $30 late cancellation fee. If it’s even 30 minutes inside that 24-hour window you will be charged.
Services
The Client will be provided with monthly “athletic coaching” services via telephone, video call, or in-person unless otherwise specified by the coach. Each video/phone call will be a maximum of 60 minutes. Each in-person training session will be planned for 2 hours.
The purpose of the athletic coaching sessions are to help the Client gain clarity in the direction their athletic training is heading; support the Client in setting athletics goals (recruitment, growth, specific times/distances, etc); and hold the client accountable to taking steps to accomplishing those goals.
This service includes but is not limited to brainstorming techniques, identifying action plans, strategies to maintain client motivation, and performing tasks to teach and empower the Client to achieve goals beyond what he/she thought possible.
The Coach may also be available for additional time, per the Client’s request on a prorated basis rate of $30 per hour (for example, reviewing video, reviewing competition, formulating action plans, and engaging in other Client-related services outside of coaching hours).
Procedure
You can reach out to Coach at any time via GroupMe (iOS or Android). Once downloaded, add CoachXPro by searching support@coachxpro.com
The time of the coaching meetings and/or location will be mutually determined by the Coach and Client. The Client will initiate all scheduled calls and will call the Coach at the following number for all scheduled meetings 303-547-7462 or via online at https://demo.bigbluebutton.org/gl/jer-x47-v3w-ccb. If the Coach will be at any other number or link for a scheduled call, the Client will be notified prior to the scheduled appointment time.
The Client has 5 minutes to initiate a call at the appointed time. If the call is not received within that time, the call is canceled without a refund.
The Client is expected to show up to in-person training on time and ready to begin. This means the Client has water, and appropriate workout attire (warm/cold weather gear, running shoes, spikes/cleats, etc) and is at the meeting spot ready to begin warm-ups at the designated time and location.
The Coach must also abide by the same procedural guidelines. The Coach must show up on time, be prepared, have an action plan, and be dressed appropriately as well as be in a coherent and clear state of mind.
Failure to come prepared and/or be on time can lead to termination of the Coach-Client relationship by either party.
Termination
Termination of this agreement may occur at the discretion of either the Coach or the Client. As long as the Client adheres to the Coach-Client Agreement and the Coach adheres to professional practices and standards, the relationship will continue.
Client agrees to compensate the Coach for all coaching services rendered through and including the effective date of termination of the coaching relationship.
Examples of reasons why the Coach might choose to end the coaching relationship:
Lack of payment
Lack of adherence to Coach-Client Agreement
Clients who cannot make it to practice on time
Indifference on the part of the Client towards implementing steps that were agreed upon during sessions
Clients who don't do homework
Clients who make excuses
Confidentiality
Anything that is said or revealed in the sessions between Coach and Client is privileged information and will not be disclosed to any outside party. The exception is if the information revealed includes information suggesting that the Client might inflict injury on themselves or disclose criminal activities.
Coach-Client Relationship
The Coach agrees to maintain the ethics and standards of behavior established by the International Coach Federation “(ICF)”. It is recommended that the Client review the ICF Code of Ethics and the applicable standards of behavior.
The Client is solely responsible for creating and implementing his/her own physical, mental, and emotional well-being, decisions, choices, actions, and results arising out of or resulting from the coaching relationship and his/her coaching calls and interactions with the Coach. As such, the Client agrees that the Coach is not and will not be liable or responsible for any actions or inaction, or for any direct or indirect result of any services provided by the Coach. The Client understands coaching is not therapy and does not substitute for therapy if needed, and does not prevent, cure, or treat any mental disorder or medical disease.
The Client further acknowledges that he/she may terminate or discontinue the coaching relationship at any time if a breach of contract has occurred, for any extenuating circumstance that would make the coaching session no longer feasible, etc.
The Client acknowledges that coaching is a comprehensive process that may involve different areas of his or her life, including work, finances, health, relationships, education, and recreation. The Client agrees that deciding how to handle these issues, incorporating coaching principles into those areas, and implementing choices is exclusively the Client’s responsibility.
The Client acknowledges that coaching does not involve the diagnosis or treatment of mental disorders as defined by the American Psychiatric Association and that coaching is not to be used as a substitute for counseling, psychotherapy, psychoanalysis, mental health care, substance abuse treatment, or other professional advice by legal, medical or other qualified professionals and that it is the Client’s exclusive responsibility to seek such independent professional guidance as needed. If the Client is currently under the care of a mental health professional, it is recommended that the Client promptly inform the mental health care provider of the nature and extent of the coaching relationship agreed upon by the Client and the Coach.
The Client understands that in order to enhance the coaching relationship, the Client agrees to communicate honestly, be open to feedback and assistance, and to create the time and energy to participate fully in the program.
Liability Waiver
The methods employed by CoachXPro do not guarantee results. The results will depend on many factors, including - but not limited to – the Client’s commitment to take action and be committed to accomplishing the desired results. The Client agrees, therefore, to hold the Coach free of any liability and responsibility for adverse reactions as a result of advice given in the coaching sessions.
